Frequently Asked Questions
Shipping & Returns
I do my best to keep jewelry in stock and ready to ship the same or next business day. Frequently, I may need to make your piece from scratch, which can take a few extra days. For this reason, I allow up to 7 business days for processing—this ensures every order is crafted with care (and without stress).
How long does delivery take?
- We ship via USPS and usually arrive within 5–6 business days, depending on your location. We ship 6 days per week.
- You can upgrade your shipping to Priority at check-out.
- All work is shipped without a receipt and in a box with tissue, and my card, in a new mailer. Suitable for mailing gifts directly to the recipient.
You’ll receive delivery details and tracking information in your confirmation email once your order is on its way.
Yes! If you need your order in a hurry, you can upgrade to USPS Priority Shipping at check-out.
Because of unpredictable tariffs, we do not feel comfortable shipping international orders at this time. We hope to resume overseas shipping in the future.
Yes! Your jewelry will arrive beautifully packaged in a recycled paper gift box with tissue paper and my business card, all tucked inside a fresh mailer. You’re welcome to include a personal note at checkout to make it extra special.
Purchase with confidence. We accept returns within 30 days of receipt. Please ship your item back as soon as possible, using the original packaging. Return shipping is paid by the customer (unless, it is because of my error), and items must arrive in unworn, original condition to qualify for a refund.
Yes! You’re welcome to pick up your order locally in Ashland when I’m selling at the Lithia Artisans Market on Saturdays. Check my website or send me a message to confirm if I’ll be set up that weekend. Please note that I don’t have open studio hours.
about my work
I make all of my jewelry in my backyard studio in beautiful Southern Oregon. It’s a traditional metalsmith setup filled with hammers and other well-loved tools that I have collected over the years.
Each piece begins with metal sheet and wire, shaped and soldered using traditional metalsmithing techniques. I handcraft all my work in my Southern Oregon studio, including custom ear wires for every earring set.
I also create ceramic beads and cabochons, pairing them with gemstones and pearls...materials that bring warmth and personality to my designs.
Some pieces start as drawings that I convert into digital vectors and have laser-cut here in Oregon. Once they return to my studio, I hammer, form, and finish each one by hand. The result is jewelry that combines precise design with random handcrafted texturing.
I do not do custom orders. Each piece I create comes from my own design process and inspiration, which keeps my work fresh and creative. I hope you’ll find something in my collection that feels perfect for you.
Materials
Argentium Sterling is a modern, premium form of sterling silver. It contains a small amount of germanium, which makes it more tarnish-resistant and brighter than traditional sterling silver. It is also hypoallergenic and made with 100% recycled silver. In short, it’s a bright and easier-to-care-for sterling, perfect for lasting, beautiful jewelry.
Metal tarnishes more slowly when stored in a jewelry box or container. I like to use a Sunshine Polishing Cloth on occasion to keep my pieces bright and gleaming.
14k Gold-Filled jewelry is made by permanently bonding a thick layer of real 14-karat gold to a core of jeweler’s brass. The gold layer is much heavier than gold plating and will not flake or wear off on pendants or earrings, even after years of use.
Rings, which receive the most daily contact, can eventually show wear after a thousand or more days of use when worn every day at work or during active tasks. Bracelets, which get gentler use, will take much longer to show any signs of rubbing.
Care for 14K Gold-Filled Jewelry: Over time, the surface may develop tiny scuffs or a bit of buildup from lotions and daily wear. When that happens, gently clean your jewelry with mild soap and water, then dry it thoroughly. Finish with a Sunshine Polishing Cloth to restore its soft, beautiful glow.

It’s always best to avoid spraying personal products like perfume directly onto your earrings or necklaces.
If they need cleaning, use mild soap and water, then dry thoroughly.
Like all jewelry, it’s best to store it in a container or jewelry box. If the surface becomes marred or dull from wear, use a Sunshine Polishing Cloth to restore its shine.
I send each brass piece to you with a bright polished finish, along with a small Sunshine cloth for upkeep. You can choose to keep your brass shiny (and close in color to 14k gold) or let it develop a rich Boho patina by doing nothing at all. Both looks are beautiful; it’s simply a matter of personal style.
For polishing, I recommend the yellow Sunshine cloth, which contains a gentle polishing compound. You can also use any quality brass polishing paste with a soft cloth. Brass reacts naturally with the air and environment, so over time, your piece will take on a character that’s unique to you. For best results, keep your jewelry stored in a jewelry box when not being worn.
